PyIndi and property status - by: fraleo62

I am working on a test client in Python using PyIndi

since I am controlling a filter wheel (SX Wheel) and I am trying to loop over all filters

very often i receive the error Driver indi_sx_wheel: read message SX Wheel 'Failed to write to wheel '
(indeed I see the same error also from Ekos)

The client and sometimes even the indiserver is stack and i need to restart over

Is there any way in Python I can retrieve the status of the property before trying to set a new value ?
